Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC wine, 2018 harvest, produced by Fattoria Italiana Martelli, was awarded a bronze medal by becoming part of the selection of wines chosen by an Italian-Chinese jury with the aim of introducing Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC wine to the Chinese market.
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC to the eye is ruby, intense and shiny, with purple reflections; in the glass it dances gracefully, leaving rather dense and thick arches, a sign of its good alcohol content ( 13% vol.) Aromas of ripe blackberries, underbrush and sour cherries stand out. A wild note can be perceived, which makes it unique. On the palate it expresses all its depth, it is well-structured and has a good persistence. The acidity, well integrated in the body, gives persistence and the tannins are rarely aggressive. The finish is savory, sensual, punctuated by memories of black cherry that cannot be misunderstood.

Extra virgin olive oil Gentile di Chieti

The Monovarietal extra virgin olive oil Gentile di Chieti, produced by FattoriaItalana Martelli, was selected as one of the best olive oils on the national territory.

Gentile di Chieti is a variety of olives typical of Abruzzo and in particular native to the territory of Chieti.

Fattoria Italiana Martelli harvests the Gentile di Chieti olives at the beginning of October when the olives have just ripened; the olives are then taken to the mill where they are processed in order to obtain olive oil.

The olive oil is bottled as soon as it leaves the separator (machine that allows the separation of the oil from the vegetable water by means of centrifugation) and is stored in dark bottles, important to maintain the characteristics of the oil produced, which would otherwise undergo oxidative processes.
