Fattoria Italiana Martelli<\/strong> is the union between two people, Roberto and Ludovica<\/strong>, who represent the fourth generation of families present in the winemaking sector since 1930<\/strong>
The Winery is located in Lanciano<\/strong>, in Abruzzo, on the family land where in 1995 the second oil mill was founded and where the winery was later extended from its original site in Rocca San Giovanni. Fattoria Italiana Martelli’s land ranges between the municipalities of San Vito Chietino one of the most picturesque corners of the Abruzzo coastline<\/strong>, and referred to by D’Annunzio as “the land of brooms” and Rocca san Giovanni, known for its splendid “costa dei trabocchi.” <\/strong>As Abruzzo is a region that faces both the Adriatic Sea and the massifs of the Gran Sasso d’Italia and Majella, the soil and climate environment, allows the production of high quality raw materials, each with its own identity.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The territory benefits from a dramatic swing in temperature variation during the course of a day, which guarantees that the grapevines have an ideal microclimate when associated with a good flow of air so that they grow and produce grapes of extraordinary quality. The particular pedoclimatic environment-with<\/b> coastal hills overlooking the Trabocchi coast, close to the mountains-and the cultivation techniques-from<\/b> the olive harvest, which is always done directly from the tree, to immediate milling-contribute to the best expression of the productions, in terms of acidic composition, polyphenolic content and flavor.
